After your initial part design has been established, it needs to be optimized for manufacturing. PPI can assist in part design and is ready to share our expertise in mold making, molding and part finishing during this phase to help meet your quality and cost expectations. Working with us early in your design efforts will speed up the entire process, which leads to greater project success.

Product Development and Analysis

During this phase PPI also works with you to determine the optimum material, molding process, secondary issues, paint and finish requirements and packaging options. Our 20 years of experience and our continued commitment to new manufacturing techniques gives you many options to meet your functionality, ergonomic and performance needs.

PPI offers the latest in computer technology that assists in perfecting the mold making and molding process. We use MoldFlow® software to help determine gating, filling, pressure and temperature settings before, during and even after the mold is manufactured. Our toolroom also utilizes MasterCam® and Cadkey® CAD/CAM software on four Pentium III computers to fully download mold design into all phases of our mold manufacturing. All this allows us to perfect the mold and molding processes so to improve delivery and quality at no additional expense or added time.
